What are we doing?
We believe in doing our part to minimise the impact we have on the environment. Where possible we pack our products using environmetally friendly packaging or recycled boxes. We want your goods to arrive safe and undamaged but we refrain from using unecessary packinging.
Sustainable development is important to us. It requires an integrated approach and that’s why we aim to only sell brands that align with our values. All of the brands we sell are passionate and committed to preserving and protecting our common ground; producing products using responsible bussiness practices. Sourcing sustainable and fair trade ingredients where possible and recycled plastic or bioplastic packaging.
We hope that one day soon, all cosmetic manufactures and the world in which we live in will strive to be carbon neutral and sustainable. Until then we will keep doing our part.

I’m sure we can all agree that curly hair is beautiful, but it does need extra care! We’re here to celebrate the hair you were born with, the hair that makes you, you. That’s why we are working hard to bring you the best brands/products on the market at the best possible prices!
From humble beginnings working from a bedroom in our house, Jackie Cochrane has worked tirelessly alongside her husband and business partner Gary, to become one of New Zealand’s leading curl specialists!
We understand the importance of high quality, curl friendly styling products, free from silicone and sulphates. That is why we decided to create our online shop so we can help as many people as we can to embrace their natural hair texture and stop the’ build-up’ from inferior products!
Meet Jackie
I Am The Co-Owner And Founder Of Acapella Hair. I specialise in naturally curly and textured hair with nearly 20 years industry experience. Having curly hair myself, I have always noticed the lack of hair salons available that can cut and style my curls whilst understanding the importance of products and maintenance. We are on a mission to change that one step at a time.
